Tuesday evening I landed at Kennedy Airport in New York City to begin my journey toward 12~ 13~14: that will be the date this coming Saturday —the last sequential date for this century.
Today my sister Betty would be 65 years old. I spent yesterday walking around my old neighborhood in Brooklyn. Park Slope has changed a lot in 30 years. When Betty visited me in my dumpy apartment on 5th Avenue (Brooklyn) back in the early 80s, she told the cabdriver he had the wrong address. There was no way her sister lived above a hardware store! Well, the building is still there:
